We are a family run business that have been operating for over 45 years. The company was started by our Managing Director, Chris Sterling. Not long after that, his sister, Jo Smith, was brought on board to manage the accounts department.

After leaving school Chris’s eldest son, Duncan joined the business. Duncan is the Sales Manager and also oversees the warehouse operations. After leaving university, Chris’s youngest son, James, joined the business in 2011.

James is the Office Manager and oversees a lot of the administration. Finally, we have Duncan’s eldest son, Jack, who joined us in 2022. Jack works in our warehouse, fulfilling all the book orders as well as dealing with sales alongside Duncan.

We pride ourselves on our customer service and our efficiency of order fulfilment. We have a fast turnover of stock which means customers benefit from new and exciting titles all the time.

The difference between us and a larger corporation, is that any enquires come through to one of the family and we all care deeply about maintaining our excellent standards of customer service.
